A-learn how to affirm

The 'A' stands for affirmation and is part of my ABC technique which is a proven psychological technique for reducing stress and anxiety, improving overall wellbeing and building resilience. Affirmations are positive personal statements to change your mindset to be more positive. Doing this is using the power of your mind. I am Patricia and as founder of MindCircles I developed my ABC which are proven psychological techniques to help improve your overall wellbeing. All my MindBites are my 'C' but I decided to develop this MindBites after speaking to many individuals who told me they did not know how to affirm. My MindBites are short videos with voice over by me, Patricia, the founder of MindCircles. I decided to call my MindBites creative imagination rather than using the word visualisation as my research over the years has shown that many people find it difficult to visualise as they believe that this word means 'seeing' where as using your creative imagination means using all your senses, see, hear, taste, touch. My research also showed that many people find meditation too long so with this in mind I created short meditations (most are between 2 and 4 minutes long) and they have proven to be just as effective in calming and reducing stress no matter the situation. Scientific research also shows that when use your creative imagination it improves performance. It increases your confidence. You change your mindset to be more positive. It is important to never forget the power of the mind. As with all my MindBites this one 'How to Affirm' is a short mindfulness meditation to help you learn how to make positive, personal statements which is a powerful way of using your mind in combating the negative aspects of stress. I recommend you use my ABC regularly, when you make this your good habit you will be more calm, relaxed and less anxious. You will feel better and your overall health improves.
